Our first introduction to Portuguese Water Dogs was in 2000 at a local Photo shop and studio owned and run by Shelley and Bob Plucker of Afortunado Portuguese Water Dogs. Shelley very often brought their dogs to work. The dogs would greet customers at the door or sometimes from afar depending on who they had with them that particular day. It was love at first sight and we decided that we really needed a Portuguese Water Dog. Our dogs include:
